📍 Northwest Africa | ⚡ X6000E Electric Tractor | 👤 Walid, Logistics Director at LH Company
Walid, the Logistics Director at LH Company, a globally renowned building materials enterprise, recognized a pivotal shift. When new environmental regulations emerged in Northwest Africa, aiming to propel a green transformation in transportation and even designating building materials logistics as an electrification pilot, it became clear: traditional diesel tractors needed to make way for new energy trucks.
Walid first heard about SHACMAN in late 2023, when the brand's flagship X6000 tractor had just launched locally. However, always cautious and meticulous, Walid didn't immediately opt to collaborate with this unfamiliar Chinese brand.
In September 2024, IAA Transportation opened in Germany, with SHACMAN showcasing its flagship models. During the exhibition, Walid, who had been actively seeking suitable products, led his technical team in an in-depth discussion with SHACMAN. He raised a series of professional questions concerning the adaptability of pure electric tractors in Northwest African environments, energy consumption, and after-sales service.
Through preliminary research, SHACMAN presented its latest generation of new energy products tailored to LH Company's long-distance and heavy-load cement clinker transportation needs. The solution was X6000E tractor, featuring an integrated electric drive axle and a large-capacity battery with bottom rapid battery swapping.
Battery swap time - qualitative leap in operational efficiency
kWh large battery for long-range capability
Cargo capacity with lightweight electric drive axle
Walid's interest was immediately piqued. The ability to complete a battery swap in just 5 minutes represented a qualitative leap in operational efficiency. The long range provided by the over 500 kWh large battery, coupled with the highly integrated, lightweight electric drive axle, left more room for cargo capacity. Walid felt this truck was truly designed for LH's cement transportation demands.
After several rounds of communication, Walid was thoroughly impressed by the SHACMAN team's professionalism, meticulous approach, and the advanced nature of their new energy products. He ultimately decided to procure a batch of X6000E battery-swapping sample vehicles for trial operation.
This past June, the first batch of brand-new X6000E vehicles successfully crossed the ocean and were delivered to LH Company. Currently, the vehicles are performing exceptionally well in all aspects.
"We have taken a critical step towards a more sustainable mode of transportation. As industry pioneers, this is a significant challenge for our company, and even for our nation. We are grateful to SHACMAN for bringing us the most advanced product technology on the market."
"X6000E is more than just a truck; it's a futuristic project. And now, the future is here!"
